About Canyon Speech Pathology

Canyon Speech Pathology opened in 2008 in Dice Plaza Center. We are a private clinic. CSP employs Niko, our receptionist and billing technician. She is also very friendly and a great listener.

About the Speech Language Pathologist:

My name is Eve Peppley. I earned my Bachelor's degree of science at Northwest Nazarene University and my Masters of Science at Idaho State University. Both of my degrees are in the Sciences of Speech-Language Pathology. I have my licensure from the state of Idaho and am also a certified member of the American Speech-Hearing Association. I have been practicing therapy in our community, in the field of Speech Pathology since 2002.

Most of my free time is spent outdoors. I enjoy bike riding, jogging, and skiing. I grew up in a small town in Northern North Dakota, but have lived here in Nampa for over 20 years. I enjoyed Idaho so much when I attended college that I decided to make it my permanent home. I have raised two fantastic sons who are now attending colleges in Colorado.

One of my sons had significant health challenges and was able to benefit from physical, occupational, and speech therapy very much. I understand the challenges and emotions that can occur when a loved one needs therapy to progress and/or is not following the typical course of development. Both of my sons were early readers, and are still avid readers. I still enjoy teaching literacy and pre-literacy skills very much! It is my favorite skill to teach and no one is too old to learn to be better readers!

I have worked in schools, home health, residential care centers, therapy centers and in hospitals. I have been an employee, independent contractor and currently the clinic owner/therapist. I have always wanted to open up a private clinic and I love it. The individuals we serve here are all ages and abilities. We currently have therapy openings available!

We are considering expanding our services to include online speech therapy for some individuals. We believe there are some families who would benefit from remaining at home but still need communication therapy for their loved one(s). This option is not currently available at Canyon Speech Pathology but is being considered at this time. Let us know if you have an opinion about online speech pathology services.
